musitorial noun, a mashup of music, musings and editorials, music and song that evokes thought and commentary.
I can’t believe it’s been sooooo long since I pasted something! Posted, I mean posted!
I HAVE been writing, of course, including finalizing, uploading, approving, ordering, receiving and even selling a few, Ideas for Sale, my third self-published book abusing a character from the fictional village of The Landing.
The relief associated with birthing a project is almost visceral – I can feel both a sense of relief and a sense of release. Now I can get to the serious work of finishing that fifteen-plus-year project that’s been hanging over my head. (Hint, An Apology of a different sort.)
Fingers crossed that I can/will live up to my own expectations thanks to the example set by the completion of Ideas. Wish me luck.
And I pledge to continue/resume tickling the keyboard as new musitorials are inspired.
Speaking of which, today’s musitorial is inspired by the sense of release alluded to above, though perhaps not in the spirit that Jim Morrison’s’(1943-1971) spirit invites. Still, there’s a light at the end of this section of the creative tunnel.
Well, I've been down so Goddamn long
That it looks like up to me
Enjoy!
p.s. Ideas for Sale, is now available from Amazon world-wide in both print and e-book formats.
